In October 2026 Brand etc. produced the launch of Alisa and Lysandra Fraser’s first designer rug collaboration with UNITEX Rugs at La Porte studio, bringing the collection to life through six OZ Design “at home” vignettes.
Alisa and Lysandra’s refined, relaxed approach to design provided the starting point. Since winning The Block in 2013, the twin sisters have built careers spanning interior design and product development, alongside founding al.ive body. Their understanding of how people live in their homes informed a collection of eight handcrafted, 100% wool rugs inspired by natural textures and contemporary Australian living.
Six vignettes, styled with OZ Design furniture and accessories, showed how the rugs could anchor a room, introduce texture and bring different interior elements together.
The settings gave guests a close-up view of the collection’s materials, colours and detailing, while helping them imagine the rugs in their own spaces.
Hosted at La Porte studio, the evening brought the designers, brand and collection together in an environment created for discovery.
Guests could move between the six settings, explore the rugs up close and see how each design contributed to the character of a room. The styling translated the collaboration’s refined, relaxed aesthetic into a tangible experience.
The evening continued Brand etc.’s relationship with Unitex Rugs and marked the debut of Alisa and Lysandra × UNITEX Rugs with a clear expression of the collection’s design direction.
